Examples of these apps include the likes of Journal Entry, Ambi Science, and MyFitnessPal. The last named app keeps track of the calories consumed by the individual. It also allows you to enter exercises to obtain calorie credits. The app can also be synced with your account with MyFitnessPal.com and you can then enter your data on the Web or even on your phone.

Mobile applications are closely related to wearable technology as smartphones can strapped to your arm. These apps can provide diagnostic information and they can also provide treatment that can help you treat yourself if need be. The apps help you by monitoring body functions of the foods you consume, the number of calories burnt and your heart rate.
